The International Organization for Migration (IOM) held an exhibition of immigrants’ stories on Monday to mark the International Day of Migration, which falls on the 18th of December each year.

The event was attended by the head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) mission in Libya, a representative of the Libyan Foreign Ministry, a representative from the Malian embassy, and a number of civil society organizations related to migrants, refugees and displaced persons.

The head of the IOM mission in Libya, Othman Belbeisi, said that the celebration is a highlight of some positive experiences of migrants in Libya.

Immigrants from different countries who now reside in Libya also participated by sharing their experiences during their stay in the country.
