UNHCR confirmed the increase in the number of illegal immigrants arriving at the landing points in Misurata, Khoms, and Tripoli during this week.
The report indicated the rescue of about 470 migrants by Libyan Coast Guard since the beginning of this year, calling for urgent international action in the Mediterranean, after the drowning of dozens of migrants, a few days ago.
UNHCR said it had evacuated 26 refugees and asylum seekers from Libya to Romania, including Syrians, Sudanese, and Eritreans, bringing the total number of evacuees to 93 people.
