The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency of Tajoura said it had conducted Monday health checkups including blood tests and mammogram to residents of the shelter, for tuberculosis and leprosy disease.
The migrants were also provided with health care services, as part of the comprehensive health survey program for illegal immigrants, the agency added.
The tests were conducted under the supervision of the National Centre for Disease Control in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the International Organization for Migration.
