The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) stated that they have provided humanitarian assistance to more than 7,000 people displaced from the city of Sabratha due to the armed clashes that took place recently.

The ICRC explained that they, in cooperation with their partners from the Red Crescent, provided food, household utensils, blankets and hygiene goods to help displaced people meet their needs for essentials.

The ICRC also stated that they had delivered medicines and other health items to a number of health facilities in western Libya to treat the wounded from the recent clashes.
