Human Rights Watch called on the UAE government to conduct a transparent investigation into the biscuit factory attack south of Tripoli that took place in November last year, as international and human rights reports confirmed that UAE drones were involved in the airstrike.

The organization concerned with human rights issues in the world said in a statement Wednesday that the UAE government has taken no move to eliminate the harm caused to the victims of the attack.

The airstrike against the biscuit factory in November last, resulted in the killing of eight civilians, seven of whom were killed at the scene while a Bangladeshi worker died of his wounds after ten days at the hospital, in addition to dozens of others wounded, including seven Libyans.
