The Public Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons confirmed that it had recovered one corpse, which was discovered in a single grave in the city of Tarhuna.
The authority stated on its official Facebook page on Wednesday that the exhumation operation is still ongoing in the area, which has witnessed the recovery of more than 129 bodies since last June.
The Public Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons announced last Sunday yet another mass grave discovered in the Al-Kazerma area of Ben Ghashir, adding that work is underway on the site to recover the human remains from it at the earliest possible time.
