A number of MPs of the House of Representatives (HoR) in Tobruk issued a statement on Friday evening requesting the presidency of the HoR to hold an urgent meeting to discuss the report of the Audit Bureau, which showed that a number of MPs had received funds from the Presidential Council.
The MPs also requested in their statement the Audit Bureau to disclose the names of the MPs who were involved.
Earlier, the Audit Bureau has accused the Presidential Council of wasting public funds and acting unlawfully in sections including granting of funds, bonuses and assignments to members of the House of Representatives and the High Council of State.
