A road accident Tuesday afternoon in Gharyan city claimed the lives of 13 people, Gharyan Hospital confirmed.
A staff member of the Emergency and Aid Department at the hospital clarified that all 13 people were dead when they arrived at the hospital.
The incident occurred in the area of Gadhama south of Gharyan when a bus carrying employees of an oil drilling company collided with a truck loaded with oxygen tanks for welding, causing the turnover of both vehicles, according to an eyewitness.
