The House of Representatives in Tripoli has welcomed the ceasefire agreement signed in Geneva and the total exclusion from the option of war.

The HoR expressed in the statement its hope that this agreement would lead to a stoppage of foreign interference and the urgent exit of mercenaries, as an offering of proof towards good intentions.

It added that commitment to the ceasefire agreement by Haftar and his supporters should be the responsibility of the United Nations and the international community.

The HoR stressed the necessity for the ceasefire agreement not to be the cause of disruption to justice, by way of sparing the perpetrators of crimes from being subject to it.
