The Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) Aqial Saleh met with the UN advisor on Libya, Stephanie Williams, and reiterated that the ongoing situation in the country required a government that would work and provide services for all Libyans without exclusion, marginalization and regional bias.

Saleh’s media office said he had reviewed with Williams the late start political developments in Libya, as the latter hailed the consensus between the HoR and the High Council of State. Saleh reiterated that the solution to Libya’s issues must be purely Libyan without foreign intervention.

Speaker Saleh said the HoR is capable of working on comprehensive national reconciliation in cooperation with the Presidential Council and the rest of Libyan parties.
