Members of the Tripoli-based House of Representatives demanded on Monday the eastern authorities to disclose the fate of the kidnapped MP, Siham Sergewa, insisting that she must be released immediately.

The HoR members placed a picture of MP, Sergewa on her seat during their regular session, as a demonstration of solidarity with her, according to the HoR official page on Facebook.

MP Siham Sergewa went missing since July 17 after an armed group attacked her house in Benghazi and took her to an unknown destination, while her husband and son were wounded during the attack.

The attackers are thought to belong a militia group loyal to one of Haftar's sons.
