Member of the House of Representatives (HoR) Izz al-Din Qurib said that the HoR is seeking to draft a referendum law that will ban the adoption of the current constitution in order to avoid the use of force by some parties who reject the draft constitution.

In a statement to Al-Nabaa TV, Qurib clarified that the articles of the referendum law approved by Parliament until the moment include dividing Libya into three constituencies, in addition to the exclusion of residents outside the country from the referendum.

It is noteworthy that numerous members of MPs loyal to Dignity Operation reject the current draft constitution for containing articles that prohibits holders of second nationality, including Khalifa Haftar, from running for the presidential elections of the country.
