The House of Representatives (HoR) has called on all security services to assume their responsibilities in searching for former Benghazi mayor the deputy head of the General Intelligence Service Ahmed Oreibi and his son, and to unfold his disappearance case and who was behind it.

The HoR expressed its condemnation of the abduction of Oreibi and his son at dawn last Tuesday by unidentified gunmen, demanding an urgent investigation into the incident.

Although their whereabouts is still unknown and all militias and armed groups in Benghazi denying connection to their abduction, fingers were pointed at the Salafist brigade Tariq Bin Ziyad that is loyal to Khalifa Haftar, who has lately placed under his son-led Brigade 106.
