The House of Representatives (HoR), on Monday, voted in favour of a bill that proposes supporting each Libyan family with an amount of 50,000 dinars, with the exception of the beneficiaries of the marriage grant recently approved by the government.

The HoR spokesman, Abdullah Blehaq said in a brief statement: “The HoR votes unanimously on the family support bill to the tune of 50,000 Libyan dinars for each Libyan family, with the exception of those who benefited from the marriage grant.”

Approximately a week ago, the HoR referred a proposal to support the Libyan families to the Legislative Committee to prepare a draft law to be presented to the house for approval.
