The head of the High National Election Commission (HNEC), Emad Al-Sayah discussed with the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Libya Maria Ribeiro, the preparations of the Commission for the upcoming elections.
The meeting, which was held on Wednesday, reviewed the developments on the ground and the UN support for the electoral process, as well as the coordination mechanism of United Nations organizations including the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, the United Nations Development Program, and the International Organization for Migration, in order to activate the partnership programs in the referendum process.
