The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh discussed on Wednesday, with the head of the Civil Registry Authority (CRA), Mohammad Beltamir, means of cooperation between the two sides in preparation for the elections scheduled for December of this year.

The two sides also discussed a set of proposals for developing and updating the voter registry and providing the HNEC with a database of targeted youths who have reached the legal age to register as voters during the upcoming elections.

For his part, Beltamir stressed that the CRA welcomes cooperation with the HNEC and overcomes the difficulties facing all citizens to expand the base of participation, thus giving the elections the highest levels of credibility.
