The High National Electoral Commission (HNEC) announced on Wednesday, the end of the voter card distribution process and its receipt by the relevant committees in all electoral administration offices throughout Libya.
The head of the logistical support department in the electoral operations department at the HNEC, Walid Siala, revealed that in excess of 2.8 million voter cards have been distributed to all and various electoral administration offices throughout Libya.
Siala added that the distribution process took place in coordination with the Libyan Postal Company, which ensured the transport and delivery of the shipment of cards on time, noting that during the forthcoming days, sensitive materials, related to the elections would be received within the framework of the commission’s intensive preparations to complete the electoral entitlement within the expected timeframe.
