The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, has confirmed the international community strong support to the electoral process in Libya, in order to reach a solution to the political crisis.
Al-Sayeh indicated in a press statement that the HNEC had received positive messages from several major countries offering their support and readiness to provide it with all its needs in terms of equipment and experts.
Earlier, the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum agreed to hold elections on December 24, 2020, which coincides with the anniversary of Libya's independence.
