The Historic Cities Authority has included more than 60 landmarks and buildings in its list of historical sites.

The Director-General of the administration, Abdul Mawla Al-Suwaidi, approved on Wednesday a resolution to classify a collection of monuments and buildings, which the authority said was the "result of tireless work... that involved several municipalities, cities, and villages in various regions of the country."

On this occasion, the head of the national register committee gave a light presentation explaining the mechanism of work and the technical standards adopted by the committee to accomplish the tasks.
