Sources close to the family of Dr. Mohammed AlMadani, the former political and media advisor to Khalifa Hefter, confirmed the news of his return to his family after being arrested in Benghazi for ten days.

No explanation was given as to the identification of the person or group that arrested him, or the reasons behind the arrest.

AlMadani was abducted ten days ago by an armed force under the command of Hefter according to eyewitnesses.
