The head of the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) office in Libya, Jean-Nicolas Marti, discussed with Libya's Health Minister, Ramadan Abu Jinnah, the challenges facing the health sector in Libya.
Marti's meeting came days before his meeting with Abdullah Al-Lafi, the Deputy of the Presidential Council, and the head of the Humanitarian Affairs Committee of the Libyan Army, Colonel Hatem Al-Kadiki, to examine the missing person file and access to places of detention, in addition to the ICRC's working methods in this regard.
The Red Cross stressed the need to resolve humanitarian concerns regarding missing persons and for all arms bearers to respect international humanitarian law.
