The Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj, discussed Tuesday with the President of the High Council of State Council (HCS), Khaled Al-Mashri, the latest developments of the political and economic situation in the country, and the current crises.

The meeting, which was held in the presence of First Deputy of HCS,  Naji Mukhtar, also reviewed the economic reform plan, which aims to support stability and alleviate the suffering of citizens, in coordination with the Central Bank of Libya and other concerned parties.

The two sides also stressed the importance of respecting the democratic process and holding presidential and parliamentary elections within a sound constitutional framework, in addition to the unification of the state institutions.
