The head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, said on Friday that he hoped the production of oil at Ras Lanuf and Sidra would resume within the next two days.

Speaking to reporters before the OPEC meeting in Vienna, Sanallah said that a third limited fire broke out at a third oil storage tanker in Ras Lanuf but was extinguished on Thursday.

He added that Libya lost 450 thousand barrels per day of production after the closure of the ports of Ras Lanuf and Sidra as a result of clashes that took place over the past few days.
