The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khalid Al-Mishri, said during his meeting with deputy head of the UN mission for political affairs, Stephanie Williams, in Tripoli on Saturday that the current stage requires to charge fees for the purchase of foreign currency, in order to reach the equilibrium price so that the exchange rate can be adjusted, according to the information office of the HCS.

The meeting touched upon issues relating to the adoption of the referendum law and the need to hammer the obstacles that inhibit the voting on the bill.

The meeting also dealt with the latest developments related to the economic reforms and the situation of the displaced people from the cities of Benghazi, Derna and Tawergha, and ways to reach a comprehensive solution to this sensitive file.
