The head of EU Border Assistance Mission in Libya (EUBAM), Tagliaferri, has apologized for one of the members of the mission sitting in the seat allocated to Libya during the 37th Session of the Enforcement Committee of the World Customs Organization (WCO) in Brussels.

This came during a meeting with Foreign Minister, Mohamed Siyala, in Tripoli on Thursday.

Siyala called for the respect of Libyan sovereignty, saying that “Libya will not be represented or spoken for except for by Libyans.”

He also demanded to take decisive measures to preserve the prestige of the state and its sovereignty.
