The spokesman for the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Abdel Nasser, criticized the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) for its recent claim that its official Facebook page had been hacked, throwing doubt on its ability to conduct the elections in an orderly, fair and transparent manner.
Nasser expressed the HCS’s concern regarding the recurring violations and errors on the official platforms of the HNEC.
Earlier, the HNEC claimed that its verified Facebook page had been hacked, following the publication of a post stating that Saif Gaddafi’s candidacy papers had been rejected.
