A member of the High Council of State (HCS), Bilqasim Qazit, said that the HCS does not want to enter into legal discussions on the draft constitution, adding that the Constituent Assembly, an elected and technically competent body, was able to complete the constitution, which received the approval of more than two thirds of the elected assembly.

Qazit added in a press release saying "We hope all political parties take advantage of this opportunity and put the country back on track after all of this current political polarization, I consider the results of the Constituent Assembly as a half miracle. Therefore, we appeal to all political parties to work to end the transitional phase and facilitate entry into a more long lasting political stage through the referendum on this constitution."
