The High Council of State (HCS) has described Tarhuna he mass graves as heinous crimes against humanity, which show the true ugliness of the perpetrators and their savagery.
In a statement, the HCS called on the Government of National Unity to put in more effort to prosecute the perpetrators, both locally and internationally, stressing that all guilty parties should be brought before the judiciary in order to bring them to the justice they deserve.
It stressed the necessity to stand firmly against everything which would offer an outlet for impunity and assist in escaping from the reality of the law of the land.
