The committee formed by the High Council of State (HCS) to prepare for its participation in the UN-backed National Conference "Al Multaqa Al Watani", held its first session on Monday.
The session was devoted to developing a vision for an active engagement in the conference to be held this year under the auspices of the United Nations mission, according to the HCS's Information Office.
The meeting also dealt with the general framework of the conference and the HCS's vision on several issues relating to the conference, including the date, membership criteria, inputs, outputs, and adequate mechanisms.
