The President of the High Council of State (HCS), Khalid Al-Mishri said that the HCS discussed Wednesday in its first session after its new presidential election the political dialogue and the amendment of the political agreement.

Al-Mishri added that the members of the HCS also discussed the new inputs regarding the political dialogue and the prospects for meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Aqailah Saleh and the plan of action in this regard.

He also clarified that they agreed to address the major issues, including quick solutions to the obstacles facing the political agreement and its inclusion in the constitutional declaration by the House of Representatives, in addition to be open to the amendments required especially in terms of the six sovereign positions in order to alleviate the economic suffering of the Libyan people.
