The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khalid Al-Mishri said that Khalifa Haftar would not have waged a war on Tripoli if he had not received support from Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Al-Mishri said during his speech at the opening of the 13th Aljazeera Forum in Doha that the UAE had violated the international embargo on the supply of arms to Libya by equipping Haftar's forces with weapons and aircraft, stressing that there would be no talks about a political dialogue before the withdrawal and punishment of the invading forces.
