The President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri met on Friday with the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the presidential palace in Istanbul.
The two sides reviewed developments of the military aggression launched by Haftar on Tripoli and the western region in general.
The meeting also discussed efforts to coordinate the international position towards this attack, and the steps needed to achieve a peaceful solution to the Libyan crisis.
Earlier, Al-Mishri disclosed that he would start external visits to convey the true picture of the aggression against Tripoli.
