The head of the High Council of State (HCS) Khaled al-Mishri discussed with Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirim ways to strengthen Libyan-Turkish relations and the latest developments in the Libyan scene, including, efforts to end the political deadlock in Libya.

The talks took place in the Turkish parliament building, away from the eyes of the media and in the presence of the personal envoy of Turkish President to Libya, Emrullah İşler, before extending to include the delegations of the two countries, according to the Turkish Anadolu news agency.

Al-Mashri arrived in Turkey on Thursday morning as part of a two-day visit.
