The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri has expressed the council's surprise at the stances of the United Nation mission in Libya towards the aggression against Tripoli and the weak response to what he described the horrific crimes committed by Haftar and the countries supporting him.

This came during Al-Mishri's talks with the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame in Tripoli, over the position of the international community and the Security Council on the attacks against the civilians throughout the region, as well as the chaos hindering the efforts to deal with the crisis and end the division.
