The High Council of State (HCS) organized Monday a workshop to discuss a draft law on human trafficking.
The HCS noted the points on the subject and prepared the draft of the project to be submitted to the legislative authority for approval.
The workshop was held in Tripoli and attended by representatives of the Department of International Organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Department of Law at the Ministry of Justice and members of civil society groups.
For his part, the head of the Legal Committee of the HCS, Fathallah Sariri, called on regional and neighboring countries as well as international organizations to help Libya in the implementation of this law and other steps associated with illegal immigration and national security.
