The High Council of State (HCS), called on the Presidential Council (PC), on Saturday, to raise the level of military coordination with its international allies, in order to implement the provisions within the international agreements reached, to end the attempted coup led by Haftar.

It also called on the PC to impose grave consequences and penalties on any military personnel who failed to perform their national duties, whilst urging conflicting Libyan parties to overcome their differences at this challenging time.

The HCS added that this is perhaps not the right time to be discussing political dialogue, as the aggression rains down on the capital, and called on official institutions to desist dichotomy and discord in order to focus all efforts on ending the attacks on innocent civilians.
