The High Council of State (HCS) has called on the Presidential Council (PC) to boycott the Arab emergency summit, called for by Saudi Arabia later this month, as an expression of rejection to the Arab League position, which it described as shameful towards the attack on Tripoli.

In a statement, the HCS demanded the UN Secretary-General Special Envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame, that his forthcoming briefing to the UN Security Council should be fair and just, calling him to bear his legal, political, and moral responsibility, in order to stop the aggression on the capital and punish the perpetrators.
