Commander of the so-called Dignity Operation Khalifa Haftar arrived in Rome Wednesday, three weeks after Palermo International Conference on Libya.

Haftar is to meet Thursday the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte to discuss illegal migration issue, according to the Italian newspaper Il Messaggro.

It also added that Haftar will hold talks with US Ambassador to Tunisia David Robinson.

Haftar had left Jordan just hours before the arrival of the Presidential Council head, Fayez al-Sarraj, who denied meeting Haftar following reports on their meeting.
