The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres has condemned the bombing of Al-Khadhra General Hospital by Haftar's militias and attacks targeting health workers.

Guterres warned in a statement on Wednesday, that attacks on health workers and facilities may amount to war crimes, noting that medical personnel and institutions are protected under international humanitarian law.

The UN Secretary-General renewed his call for sustaining the humanitarian truce so that the Libyan authorities and their partners could focus their efforts to curb the spread of the disease and save many lives in Libya.
