UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres has said that the upcoming Berlin conference would bring together the key players in the Libyan conflict.
At a press conference in Berlin, on Tuesday, with German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, Guterres expressed deep gratitude for the German initiative, according to AKI.
"The goals of the Berlin conference are a ceasefire and a return to a political process capable of bringing peace to Libya, as a gateway to stability in the Sahel," Guterres said, according to the UN media office.
