The branch of Bank of Commerce and Development in Zliten city, central Libya, has been shut down by gunmen protesting the soaring price of U.S. dollar in the black market, local sources reported.

The bank has been under a wave of public criticism after being accused by financial experts of selling foreign currency in a suspicious manner that caused a hike in exchange rates in the black market.
