The United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, on Saturday, severely condemned the indiscriminate bombing of many areas around Tripoli which occurred on Friday.
Guterres, in a statement issued by his spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, added that civilians must be protected under all circumstances in line with international humanitarian. He reiterated his condemnation, in the strongest possible terms, in relation to the indiscriminate attacks on Tripoli and Mitiga International Airport, which resulted in many civilian casualties.
