Mellitah Complex announced that Greenstream pipeline had stopped flowing natural gas to Italy due to maintenance work.
The Complex clarified that its engineers will carry out the first phase of maintenance on Waha oil field, according to a post on their official Facebook page.
It is worth noting that this planned maintenance will be one of the largest maintenance and re-operation since 2005.
The Greenstream pipeline, part of the Western Libyan Gas Project, is a natural gas submarine pipeline running from western Libya to the island of Sicily in Italy.
