The Head of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, reviewed the preparations for the elections due to be held on December 24, with the Charge d’Affairs of the Greek embassy in Libya.
Both parties also discussed, during the meeting, which was held on Thursday at the headquarters of the Commission in Tripoli, the input of Greece by way of providing support and expertise in the field of election management and implementation of the voting system.
The Greek diplomat praised all efforts made by the HNEC, along with the relevant officials involved in its management, whose input is hoped to provide ideal conditions for holding elections, according to the highest international standards possible.
