The head of the High Follow-up Committee for Housing the Displaced Families, Abdul Baqi Al-Boaishi said that the committee is considering the possibility of compensating families whose houses were severely damaged in the recent events south of Tripoli.

Al-Boaishi explained that the committee is cooperating with the Municipality of Abu Salim to determine the numbers and conditions of families and damaged buildings, noting that some schools will not be able to receive students because they host displaced families.

He also pointed out that the Mayor of Ein Zara confirmed that the municipality would provide housing rents for two months to the affected families within the municipality.
