Spokesman of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Muhannad Younis has held the UN mission in Libya and the Security Council responsible for remaining silence towards the ongoing bombing of the civilian areas in Tripoli, demanding that the identity of the foreign aircraft supporting warlord Khalifa Haftar in his war be revealed.

"The bombing of the capital is a crime for which there is no statute of limitation, and all those involved in this crime would be brought to justice," Younis said.

He also underlined that the GNA will prosecute anyone found to have been involved in the bombing, which is considered as a war crime, as he put it.
