Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah has received a delegation from the city of Gharyan to discuss the rehabilitation of essential service facilities and infrastructure in the municipality.

At the head of the delegation was Gharyan's representative in the Parliament, accompanied by the city's mayor, elders, dignitaries, and representatives of various service sectors.

One of the main matters raised at the meeting was the stalled projects. The delegation demanded the activation of maintenance contracts and improving the conditions of vital roads, services, buildings, and health facilities.

They also touched upon the legal obstacles that hinder the election of a new municipal council and called for the government to intervene and solve the issue through the Ministry of Local Government.
