Members of the German Parliament pledged to Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashagha on Wednesday to provide a training program to 1500 police personnel of the Libyan Interior Ministry.

"The German commitment came after the Interior Minister's meeting with the German side in Tunisia; to discuss the implications of the humanitarian situation in Tripoli, including the IDPs and the migrant conditions, following Haftar's attack on the capital," Libyan Interior Ministry said on Facebook.

Members of the German committee renewed their country's support for the legitimacy of the Government of National Accord, as set out in the international resolutions, according to the ministry.
