The Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, received an invitation through the German Ambassador to Libya, Oliver Owcza, from the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres and the German Foreign Minister, Heiko Maas, to attend the Berlin II Conference on Libya set to take place on June 23.
According to the spokeswoman for the PC, Nejwa Wahiba, during Menfi’s meeting on Tuesday with the German ambassador; he praised the efforts made by Owcza during his term in Libya.
Menfi said, on the occasion of the end of the German ambassador’s term in Libya, that Owcza was the finest representative of his country and contributed to returning the Libyan parties to the political dialogue table.
