German ambassador to Libya, Oliver Owcza said that his country is endeavouring to build an alliance for multilateralism with 50 of its international partners in order to restore stability to Libya.

“Multilateral solutions may be slow and complicated. But they are transparent, rules based and inclusive. This is why Germany is shaping the Alliance for Multilateralism," he tweeted.

Germany has stepped up its diplomatic efforts recently in order to hold an international conference on Libya, during October this year, aiming to bring the conflicting parties and their foreign allies to the negotiating table.
